How to change slippage on the CenturionDEX web app#

Price slippage is the difference between the price you expect to receive after a swap and what you actually receive once the swap completes, caused by market movement.

The automatic slippage percentage is set between 0.5% and 5% depending on the network cost and swap size, and is designed to give you the best swap outcome. You can always enter your own slippage instead.

How to change the slippage in swap settings#

  1. Select the settings icon.
  2. Select the slippage drop-down.
  3. Switch between Auto and Custom. Choosing Custom lets you enter your own slippage for the swap.

How to view the slippage in the swap details#

  1. Enter your desired swap, then select the arrow to expand the swap's details.
  2. The current maximum slippage for the swap is shown here.

Note: If your slippage is set too low, the transaction may revert or fail. If it is set too high, you may receive fewer tokens than expected. For example, a slippage of 25% means you could receive up to 25% fewer tokens than shown in the preview.
