How is a network cost determined?#

Network costs are determined by the supply of validators and the demand for block space.
When there is a lot of traffic on Centurion (a high volume of transactions), network costs are higher. When traffic is low, network costs are lower.
Because of this, the same swap can cost more or less depending on how busy the network is at the time you submit it. Waiting for a quieter period can reduce the network cost of a transaction.
