My transaction has been pending for a long time. What can I do?#
If your CenturionDEX transaction has been pending for a long time, you can wait or cancel it.
First, check the Centurion block explorer to see whether your transaction was broadcast to the network.
How to check for pending transactions#
- Go to the Centurion block explorer.
- Search your wallet address.
- Look for any pending transactions.
If you see pending transactions, your options are:
- Wait: Most transactions complete within a few minutes, though high network activity can slow them. The interface has a default swap deadline, after which the transaction automatically fails and can be resubmitted.
- Refresh your browser: Clearing browser data and reloading can help.
- Cancel the transaction: If a transaction is stuck, you may be able to cancel it. Cancelling submits an empty transaction with a higher network cost and only works when there are no earlier pending transactions, since the blockchain processes transactions in order.
How to cancel a pending transaction#
- Select Activity.
- Select the transaction you want to cancel.
- Select Cancel transaction.
Cancelling a transaction has an associated network cost.
