How to add a new liquidity position to CenturionDEX v3#

CenturionDEX v3 lets liquidity providers concentrate liquidity within a custom price range.

To add a new liquidity position to CenturionDEX v3:

  1. Open the CenturionDEX web app and connect your wallet. Then select Pool.
  2. Select New.
  3. Select the first token drop-down.
  4. Select the first token you want to add liquidity with. Consider the Total Value Locked (TVL), trading volume, and token pricing when choosing tokens. The CenturionDEX Explore page provides this information for existing pools.
  5. Select the second token drop-down.
  6. Select the second token you want to add liquidity with.
  7. Select More.
  8. Choose a fee tier for your liquidity, then select Continue. On CenturionDEX v3, each token pair offers four fee tiers: 0.01%, 0.05%, 0.30%, and 1.00%. If a pool already exists for the selected fee tier, your position is added to it; if not, a new pool is created.
  9. Choose a price range option. Select Custom range to choose a specific price range, or Full range to add liquidity across the full price range.
  10. If selecting custom range, set the position's minimum and maximum price. Prices round to the nearest tick; see Why does the price input automatically round? If price later moves outside the range, the position becomes out of range, single-sided, and stops earning fees.
  11. Select Continue.
  12. Enter the amount of tokens you want to add liquidity with, or select Max to use the maximum amount available.
  13. Select Review to see the details of your liquidity.
  14. Select Create.
  15. In your wallet, approve CenturionDEX to access your tokens. This step requires a network cost.
  16. In your wallet, confirm the creation of your liquidity position. This step requires a network cost.
  17. A confirmation notification appears once the liquidity is added.

Once added, an NFT is sent to your wallet. This CRC-721 NFT represents your ownership of the liquidity position. For more information, see Why is liquidity position ownership represented by tokens or NFTs?

You can view and manage your liquidity position in the Pool section of the CenturionDEX web app.
